I'm a determined, patient, and passionate person—qualities that have shaped both my life and my approach to bookkeeping. Helping businesses thrive isn’t just my job—it’s what I do best. I live in Trenton, NJ with my husband and our daughter. I come from an Ecuadorian background and speak both English and Spanish fluently, which helps me connect with a wider range of clients and communities.

My journey into bookkeeping wasn’t the one I expected. I graduated from Rutgers University with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry—yes, I still have the student loans to prove it! I worked in the scientific industry for over six years, and everything seemed to be going according to plan. I had the career I’d worked so hard for, I was traveling, I met and married the love of my life... life was full.

Then, everything changed.

I found out I was pregnant—a joyful surprise. But shortly after, I was laid off when the company I worked for was bought out and downsized. I was two months pregnant. Not long after, my husband lost his job, too. It was a difficult time, and the future felt uncertain. We explored every option to stay afloat, but job hunting during pregnancy was challenging. When our daughter was born, my priorities shifted dramatically. I no longer wanted to return to a field that would keep me away from her for most of the day. I needed a new path—something that gave me flexibility, purpose, and the chance to build something meaningful.

That’s when I discovered bookkeeping.

I dove in headfirst, retrained, and never looked back. Now, I run my own bookkeeping business from the ground up, combining the precision of my scientific background with the dedication of a mother determined to succeed.
